Everyone agrees that much depends on recruitment; it must therefore be based on the clearest possible vision of the firm's objectives. At the same time, the firm must show flexibility and adapt itself to the successful applicant in order to allow the development of an optimal synergy.

Unfortunately, the cautious attitude that considers an applicant who has had the same level of responsibility for four to seven years to be the most promising is all too common. Such applicants can be of interest if they bring the experience of a different sector of activity, but their apparent stability can be seen as the indication of a lack of openness to change.
